The Department of Electronics and the Laboratory of Sciences in Archaeology of TEI Lamias in cooperation with the Greek Community of Alexandria conducted a very important task of recording, studying and conserving the marble funerary monuments of the cemetery of the Greek Community of Alexandria.

It is also conducted a very important the part of the digitization of the mapping of these funerary monuments.

The project, which was funded by the International Development Cooperation, began in 2008 and was successfully completed in 2010, when its results were publicly presented.
