Σημαντική διμερή συμφωνία για την προμήθεια αιγυπτιακού αργού πετρελαίου από τα διυλιστήρια της ΕΛΠΕ, υπέγραψαν στο Κάιρο ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της HELLENiQ ENERGY κ. Ανδρέας Σιάμισιης και ο Πρόεδρος της κρατικής εταιρίας πετρελαίου της Αιγύπτου EGPC (Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation) κ. Alaa El Batal, παρουσία του αρμόδιου Υπουργού Πετρελαίου και Ορυκτών Πόρων της γειτονικής χώρας, κ. Tarek El Molla.
“Παρά το γεγονός ότι η αναπτυξιακή έμφαση δίνεται στις πιο καθαρές μορφές ενέργειας, η μεγαλύτερη δραστηριότητά μας εξακολουθεί να είναι τα πετρελαιοειδή, ενώ αποτελεί προτεραιότητα η διασφάλιση εναλλακτικών πηγών προμήθειας αργού για την απρόσκοπτη τροφοδοσία της Ελλάδας, ιδιαίτερα σε μια τόσο ευμετάβλητη αγορά”, υπογράμμισε ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της HELLENiQ ENERGY κ. Ανδρέας Σιάμισιης, αναφερόμενος στη συμφωνία που επεκτείνει και ενισχύει τη σχέση του ελληνικού Ομίλου με την EGPC.
Η υπογραφή της διμερούς συνεργασίας πραγματοποιήθηκε στο περιθώριο του ενεργειακού Φόρουμ “EGYPS”, που διοργανώνεται κάθε χρόνο στο Κάιρο υπό την αιγίδα του Προέδρου της Αραβικής Δημοκρατίας της Αιγύπτου κ. Abdel Fattah El Sisi, με τη συμμετοχή πολλών ενεργειακών εταιριών που δραστηριοποιούνται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.
Στην αποστολή της HELLENiQ ENERGY συμμετείχαν υψηλόβαθμα στελέχη, τα οποία είχαν σειρά επαφών και συζητήσεων για θέματα πετρελαιοειδών και υπηρεσιών engineering, ενώ έμφαση δόθηκε και στον τομέα των Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών Ενέργειας, όπου η Εταιρία υλοποιεί ένα μεγάλο αναπτυξιακό πρόγραμμα. Ταυτόχρονα, ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος κ. Ανδρέας Σιάμισιης παρουσίασε το στρατηγικό πλάνο μετασχηματισμού του Ομίλου, μιλώντας στην ενότητα “Decarbonising the industry” στην οποία συμμετείχαν επικεφαλής επιχειρήσεων από όλο τον κόσμο.
Η HELLENiQ ENERGY διατηρεί σταθερή παρουσία τα τελευταία χρόνια στο Egypt Petroleum Show – EGYPS, το οποίο φέτος πραγματοποιήθηκε από τις 13 έως τις 15 Φεβρουαρίου στο διεθνές εκθεσιακό κέντρο της Αιγύπτου. Είναι η σημαντικότερη έκθεση και συνέδριο πετρελαίου και φυσικού αερίου της Βόρειας Αφρικής και της Μεσογείου, προσέλκυσε περισσότερους από 32.000 συμμετέχοντες, ενώ επαγγελματίες του κλάδου και στελέχη των επιχειρήσεων εξέτασαν τις στρατηγικές προτεραιότητες στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.
